LOVE. Came for the cauliflower but ended up getting the rosewater waffle after getting my braces tightened in the area. Ha! Good service. Cute ambiance. Probably the best waffle I've had in my life. Whoever is back there making that thang is doing their thang. The batter was ba-tter-ing.

We didn't have a reservation (note to self for next time), but even so, the 15-minute wait was well worth it. The experience from start to finish was phenomenal. My daughter raved about the burger, calling it divine. I ordered the butternut squash soup, and it was absolutely perfect--smooth, flavorful, and comforting. My daughter's friend had two children's meals: the mini burgers and chicken cutlets, both of which were a hit. One of the biggest surprises? The pita. I have never tasted pita that soft, gooey, and buttery--it was truly something special. Jack's Wife Freda delivered on every level--delicious food, warm ambiance, and efficient service. I'll definitely be back (and making a reservation next time)! Highly recommend.

A few years ago, I had brunch at Jack's Wife Freda's SoHo location, and remembered enjoying the food and the vibe. So when I saw they opened up a restaurant in Williamsburg, I knew I had to check it out. My table started with the roasted cauliflower; it was a simple dish, with capers and garlic dressing, but something I would likely reorder in the future. For my entree, I got the grilled eggplant baguette. The eggplant and tomato tasted fresh, as did the mozzarella. I'm not a huge fan of olives, but the olive tapenade wasn't overpowering. It combined well with the pesto and the sandwich's other ingredients. For dessert, I had the flourless chipotle chocolate cake. I didn't detect any "chipotle" flavor, but to be honest, I didn't mind - the cake was delicious, the mousse was rich and chocolatey, and it was a memorable way to end our lunch at Jack's Wife Freda.

Perfect spontaneous breakfast I truly enjoyed w my wife at 830am on a Monday! We were the first and staff were already vibrant and welcoming. Can always appreciate that. Our coffee and cappuccino were free with our meal! Love a deal! Started with the whole roasted garlic with the beautifully toasted baguette. Garlic was smooth for spreading. Delicious. Jacks breakfast was perfectly cooked skirt steak. About the size of an average hand, for reference. The green sauce for it also took it to another level, however, not needed. Mayas breakfast bowl was perfect for someone like ME who is ALWAYS finding a way to get in all their veggies. Kale was tossed in something. maybe lemon and a bit of oil. Was perfect since kale can be a bit on the rougher side. spaghetti squash not overly cooked. Still crunchy. Roasted tomato; not my thing, I hate tomatoes, so can't comment on that. Avocado was PERFECT! Coarse salt sprinkled over it was a nice detail. Poached eggs were phenomenal. Radish garnish for texture. Also ate that all up! The duck bacon was an amazinggggggg addition to my meal for some extra salt flavor. Now, that HOT TODDY. I'm not a tea drinker at all. I hate tea. Tastes like dirty water. But the hot toddy tastes like the best cup of tea I've ever ever had in my life. The bourbon is obviously what every cup of tea is missing!

Such a great brunch spot! The service was spectacular for how busy the restaurant was. Love the menu options! The cantaloupe mimosa was refreshing and amazing

Went to the location in soho had the wings, had a drink ate outdoors the place was crowded and is always crowded which Is why I stopped by. Very happy atmosphere friendly staff I think the wings were peri peri, very tasty. I believe it was on Lafayette Ave near 6 train.

Came here for brunch on a weekend. Got the chicken sandwich and madame Freda below. Definitely super packed and busy, will probably have to wait 10-15 mins depending on how big your party is. The portion size for their prices could be improved for sure. The food is great and tasty but not worth their big prices. The servers were super nice and helpful. Also a big family friendly place, which means lots of kids. Would recommend coming on a weekday to avoid the kids and the craziness on a weekend. Overall cute place but mostly for the aesthetic.

This is an awesome and quaint spot with great lighting and not too loud. The food selection is really good with a wide range of chicken and veggie dishes and just the right serving sizes. I ordered the zucchini chips to start and they have amazing flavor! The alcoholic drinks are perfect too. Their wait staff is very friendly make you feel at home. Would definitely return here.
